DECEMBER EVENTS

December 16: Michael McDonald: Season of Peace. It’s the Doobie Brothers guy doing holiday music, and really, does any of that sound bad? 8 p.m. at the Gillioz Theatre in downtown Springfield. (417) 863-0941 for tickets ($40-250).

December 17: Harry Connick Jr. New Orleans singer comes to Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts in Springfield. It’s a holiday show and a New Orleans Tricentennial celebration all in one. 7:30 p.m. Zip over to hammonshall.com for ticket information ($53-123).

TIP OF THE MONTH:

In the winter time, ceiling fans should turn clockwise on the lowest speed to draw cooler air up to mix with the lighter warm air. That makes it easier to keep your apartment warm and make your unit work less.

PICK UP AFTER POOCH, PLEASE

We love The Carlyle being pet friendly. We also love to keep things looking pretty. Lately there have been reports of people not picking up after their dogs. We’re prepared to review video and issue fines to offenders. Reminder: it’s a violation of your lease if you don’t pick up after your pet.

FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK

Follow The Carlyle on Facebook. It’s the place to go every day for property updates and community events.

Because it is winter outside we tend to spend more time inside. Please be considerate with the volume on your TV and stereo. Some people may have different schedules than yours. If you arrive home after 10 p.m. please try to keep the noise down.

A couple more things:

  • Please put trash IN the dumpsters, not NEXT TO them.
  • Be proud of the community in which you live…we are!

Season’s Greetings! The Bryan Properties staff wants to wish each and every one of you a very happy holiday season.
