June 7: Pup Crawl! Bring your pups out for a stroll and enjoy dinner, drinks and special pet friendly vendors and businesses — with patios and outdoor seating — along the way. Starts at the east end of Commercial Street at Ruthies Bar and continues west to That Lebanese Place, Van Gogh’s, the C-Street Market, Pizza House, Sisters in Thyme, Cafe Cusco, Big Momma’s, Lindberg’s, Moon City Pub … all the way to White River Brewing. Many restaurants and bars have fun stuff planned. 5-9 p.m., Commercial Street between Washington and Grant avenues.
June 9: Queen City Riot is a huge outdoor car show with live music, food and vendors. Held on the rolling grounds of the American Legion Post 639 QCR is a unique celebration of cars, history, art, culture and music that the whole family will enjoy. 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., 2660 S. Scenic Ave. $5, children 12 and under get in free.
June 16: The Greater Ozarks Pridefest, Park Central Square. March starts at 10 a.m., with live music, vendors, and activities until 10 p.m. Pridefest is the largest LGBT event in southwest Missouri, attracting over 4,000 people last year.

June 17: Father’s Day. Dads get in free at Dickerson Park Zoo.
June 23: Who says summer can’t have snow? SnowFest features a mountain of snow from Mediacom Ice Park, as well as entertainment, interactive games, snowman building contests and bounce house. Bring the whole family, and your mittens, and play in the snow. Noon till 4 p.m., Jordan Valley Park.
June 23: Taste of SoMo. Whether you’re craving international cuisine, farm-to-table fare, exotic fusion creations or down-home comfort food, Springfield has it all. This annual foodie showcase, the big finale of SoMo Restaurant Week, features dozens of area restaurants, cooking stations, live music and beer and cocktail vendors on Park Central Square. Free. Downtown.
June 30: Throw it away … no way! Join community volunteers and learn to repair you broken common household items (bikes, clothing, small appliances, etc). Sponsored by Community Partnership of the Ozarks, MidTown Carnegie Branch Library, and Queen City Beard and Mustache Federation. Free. Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St.
